The idea of a believer's calling has been explored for centuries—especially in recent decades. The Who am I? postmodern mindset shapes our thinking, and Christians aren’t exempt. We often ask, "What was I made to do?" Some call this a quarter-life crisis as we’re bombarded with "could do's" and "should do's" from all sides. Many of us create overwhelming agendas, while others find dreaming as foreign as a new language. But here’s the good news: our longing for purpose isn’t outside God’s plan—it’s a remnant of His original design. Scripture repeatedly reveals this theme of calling. Our task? To see our purpose through God’s direction and plan. This is where the Calling Lab comes in.

This September we’re kicking off our fall session of Married Life…an 8-week marriage study built around principles and curriculum from “The Art of Marriage” by Family Life and “The Crazy Cycle in Marriage” by Emmerson Eggerichs. As men, we are called to tend and to watch, or in other words, to protect and guard (Genesis 2:15). This is our natural “warrior” or “lion” in us. The Lord also calls us as men to love and to not be harsh (Colossians 3:19). This is our “lamb” side. In life, especially in relationships, it is equally as important to be a lamb as it is to be a lion. The goal of this group is to dive into what it looks like to be both a lion and a lamb. We will do this by equipping and encouraging each other by asking questions, reading, and studying scripture together in fellowship.
