One of our strongest global mission partnerships began when Blue Ridge felt led to come alongside the Tibetan Trust Home in Pokhara, Nepal. From the beginning, we’ve been honored to walk with its founders in their vision of bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to one of the most unreached regions of the world.
The vision for the Trust Home was born when God placed a burden on the heart of Dolma Shrestha, a Tibetan refugee, to share Jesus with her own people—many of whom have never encountered a Christian. Through her obedience, the Trust Home became a refuge for over 100 children of Tibetan refugees, many of whom were abandoned, abused, or sent from Tibet by families unable to care for them.
Although the Trust Home has since closed—due to government land claims and the aging of its founders, Dolma and Arjun—their ministry has not ended. Today, they are actively involved in Bethany Baptist Church in Butwal, a vibrant body with a deep heart for church planting.
Bethany sponsors several pastors who serve in surrounding areas and remote mountain villages. Blue Ridge is privileged to support this vision, helping fund 15 pastors and ministry leaders. These leaders faithfully serve in difficult and isolated areas, bringing hope and the message of Christ to people who may have never heard it before.
Among them is Kamala, one of three women supported by the church. She lives in a remote mountain village and has a powerful testimony—raised in a Hindu family, often sick and alone, Kamala now serves Jesus with strength and joy. Two other women lead in Bethany’s women’s ministry, encouraging and discipling others.
Blue Ridge teams regularly visit these leaders, listen to their stories, and leave humbled and inspired by their faith.
Please join us in praying for them—for boldness, provision, strong faith, and for their families as they continue this incredible work.
